The startup technology was developed during the time when smart TV’s were still just entering the market, and most of the LCD TV's in homes and offices lacked wireless connectivity. The task required a 2-part device enclosure -- one connected to a Microsoft Surface’s magnetic keyboard and the other to a specified port on a basic LCD TV. Components of the device were identified by the client and the challenge was in conceptualizing how the device would attach to the magnetic keyboard.

The proposed design solution was to clip one part onto the keyboard, supported by a magnet, which was instantly preferred by the client. I also proposed to integrate the 2 parts together into a sleek package. I took inspiration from the common highlight marker, keeping the entire enclosure structure simple, neat, and easy to clip into pockets. This would make for ease of manufacturing and assembly as well.
3D models of the enclosure design were created and sent for prototyping and testing.
